Doctor Max believes in treating the root cause of the problem, and without neglecting symptoms such as pain, aching, or disfunction, he works to address the heart of the problem and thereby setting a domino effect that knocks down all the symptoms as well. Doctor Max treats the patient, not the symptoms, that is to say that every person’s body has a distinct history, set of attributes and capacities and to promote the fastest healing all of those must be considered.

Doctor Max has additionally trained in techniques to address the soft tissues such as Graston Technique, Kinesiotaping, Pin and Stretch and Dry Needling to address fascial adhesions, scar tissue formation and trigger points. Additionally, Doctor Max utilizes rehabilitation exercises and equipment to return the spine to the proper anatomical position, minimizing wear and tear and allowing for proper and pain free function.

Outside of work, Doctor Max enjoys spending time with his son, Kai and having adventures in the beautiful Pacific North West wilderness. Doctor Max is an avid sportsman and participates in martial arts, golf, skiing, climbing and archery.
